He is such a funny kid sometimes! It is hard to believe that he is starting Grade 3 this year! I am both worried and excited for him.

Ethan finished his school shopping yesterday. He insisted upon getting Sketchers that were air cooled so that his feet would be comfy as he walked to school!

School shopping for Emma is done-mostly! It was difficult to find the right look but I think we did great considering.

A Bear in its Natural Habitat

So I finally uploaded the video of Burns in Times Square and here it is!

Sweet Baby Garrett

July 4th at 2 am y water broke and Burns rushed me into Lethbridge to the hospital. It was 3 am by the time I was in bed and hooked up to the monitors. Things were progressing pretty good . . . at 6:58 am Garrett Warner Leavitt was born much to the happiness of his parents, especially his mom! He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 20 inches long. He is a very content baby who only cries when he is cold or hungry. He loves his suggly blanket that the neigbor gave him. Everyone is in love with him! I think he looks a lot like Burns but everyone sees something different. Today he is one week old and I am feeling pretty good all things considering!

NYC!!

NYC was a blast! Two days are definitely not enough....Burns and I have agreed that sometime we will have to go back without the kids and finsih our fun. Next time I won't be 7 1/2 months pregnant (I don't recommend the amount of flying we did!). I don't have any pictures with me but if you are friends with Burns on Facebook then you probably followed his play by play. Hopefully tonight I will have a chance to post the video I took of Burns in Times Square. I call it A Bear in it's Natural Habitat. I thought it was quite clever, since he is constantly quoting that line from the Muppet Movie. A huge thank you to Grandma and Grandpa who spoiled Emma and Ethan rotten while we were gone. It was nice to hear that the kids would rather have the grandparents stay than have the parents come home!

NYC

So, tomorrow Burns and I are off to NYC for a much needed vacation. The stress of our jobs, me being pregnant, and other extenuating circumstances (I can't share, sorry) are taking its toll! Really we just need some time to relax and have some fun without any responsibility. Thanks go out to my parents who dropped things at the last minute to come down and spend that time with Emma and Ethan. Here is to a great time in NYC!

It's Been Too Long!

So it has been a long time and to catch everyone up....

• I'm teaching 5th Grade, loving it but hating bits and pieces
• Expecting a boy July 1st, Happy Canada Day, and feeling very pregnant
• Bought a Harley for my man and now he is gone every moment he can sneak away to ride...2 weeks this time!!!
• Joined the Harley Owners Group (HOG) and offically belong to a motorcycle "gang"
• Always hungry and tired....I didn't think one could be so hungry all of the time
• Counting down the days until Spring Break so I can sleep....
